current obsession

aside from adding new countries and cities to my "must-see" list,
my current obsession is satchels.
not even kidding,
i've been eyeing them for a while,
and my love for them just continues to grow stronger and stronger.
they are perfect for long days walking around new cities,
exploring new sights.
I can move it in front of my body while getting around on public transportation,
you know,
since i'm always wary of pick-pocketers.
basically, it's perfect.
especially perfect for me since it limits how much I can carry-
and I have a serious over-packing problem.

so, my friends,
I send you off for the weekend dreaming (or hating) the satchel.
I need one.
that is all I have to say about that.

and currently,
I need this one...

buy me

July is my birthday month.
maybe i'll get lucky.

but, probably not $700 lucky.

I am a big fan of satchels! They really are wonderful for traveling because you can just throw it on and keep it close to you, and you don't have to worry as much about someone taking it. $700 is a lot but it is awfully cute!

I was completely over my love of crossbody bags ever since, like, 7th grade ... and when they came back, I swore I wouldn't cave. :) Needless to say, I've been gradually changing my mind. That one is about perfect!

i am also a huge fan. i had the most marvelously gorgeous deep brown satchel a friend bought me for christmas but while in cuba, it was taken! i was so sad!! i was more sad about the 100+pictures on the camera inside the purse I would never see again but I still mourn the purse as well. :( We need to hook ourselves up with some satchels I'd say!

Omg - I love that bag! You never know though, dreams come true! I was obsessed with this $600 bag that I just loved so much but never thought I'd ever have. They were only produced for a very limited time and almost 2 years after I first saw it, my then boyfriend (now hubby) found a mint condition bag, on ebay for less than half the price! Such an awesome Christmas present! Maybe it'll take some time to get it but hey, if you love the satchel ;) hehe

I had the most gorgeous satchel (if I do say so myself) and I loved it! And then the strap broke ... it was heartbreaking.

They are great for travelling!

Hope you had a good weekend!

I love satchels. I also have an overpacking problem, so I love that I can just stick only what I *need* in them. (and I also always pull the in front of my body move on public transport).

That would be perfect for travel, though I always need a larger one because of my camera. It's got such beautiful workmanship though. I have my fingers crossed for you! July in my birthday month too, I wonder what it has in store for me!
