I know I've been away...

Some of you may be wondering if I gave up on this little blog of mine,
or disappeared,
or was maybe even kidnapped.

The truth is that I was in Italy.
I know, hard life.
And, although I was not entirely cut off from blogger land,
I decided to put it on hold until I returned to Germany.

I spent seven fabulous days with my friend, Kerrie.
Actually, Kerrie and I had never really hung out prior to this week long escape.
In fact, our friendship was a bit arranged by my host mom,
who knew I needed a friend,
and knew Kerrie, since she is an Au Pair for A's friend.

Thank goodness Kerrie is so awesome, and easy going.
We had no set itinerary,
all we knew was that we were starting in Verona, Italy and we really wanted to make it to Venice.

Here's a peak at my past week.
I will be back Monday with regular postings.
I am so behind and have so much to share with you!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Ciao!

These pictures look awesome! I'm already looking forward to seeing more pics of Italy :) Glad to hear you found a friend that you could go on vacation with!
I was in Italy when I was a little girl, I hope I will be able to go back some time in the near future. I'd definitely love a summer vacation at Lake Garda this year :D

Beautiful! I have been to both Verona and Venice. I love that Juliet's balcony was built in the 1930s; so authentic. :)

Wow... the life of an au pair abroad. So fabulous. I am dying, DYING, to go to Italy. I think my husband and I are trying to plan for it next year. Cinque Terre is near the top of the cities I want to visit there. I hope you post more about your trip, i.e., where you went and what your itinerary ended up being!
