pinterest

I took a break from Pinterest a couple months ago-
and by break, I mean I didn't spend my entire day pinning-
but, the past week or so,
i've found myself, once again, pinning more and more.
(how i'm not over Pinterest by now is a mystery)

While talking with my host mom yesterday,
I learned that Pinterest isn't big over in Germany yet-
at least not in her age range.
I couldn't believe it.
I mean, I thought that by now, nearly everyone living in first world countries would know what Pinterest is.
One example of when an assumption of mine has been very very wrong.

Are any of you in Europe?
When did Pinterest cross the pond and invade your territory?

Anyway, here are some favorites for the week.
Hope you all have a great day,
and that it's sunny where ever you are.
Rain and snow is forcasted for the next two days in southern Germany.
so not cool.

Also, for all you Moms out there-
do you have any good links for kid-friendly recipes that are also healthy?
cooking for kids has to be the most frustrating job I have ever attempted.

Brazil is not a first world country, but I noticed a lot of bloggers there are on Pinterest too.

I love the picture of the girl in a black dress and pouffy hair! Gotta love a good LBD!

Oooh, I love all your pins.
And... I've had pinterest for a little over a year now, but I was living in the states when I discovered it.

Were also freezing in SA since it's quickly turning into winter :/ That bed looks so cozy though, if it were mine maybe winter wouldn't be so tough!

In France, at least in my circle, pinterest isn't big. Not back home in Canada either. Actually, besides bloggers I know no one who uses pinterest and I'm timid to get started.

It's not sunny here but it's definitely not snowing. Stay warm!

And every now and then I put myself on forced pinterest breaks. It's tough but necessary.

I love your pins - they're all so classy and wonderful, but I especially love that black dress. Get. In. My. Closet. :)

I love Pinterest but I always wonder for what purpose am I pinning? I'm not planning a wedding or having a baby or even have kids. Not renovating or decorating a house. Nothing. I guess I just like pretty pictures and there really isn't anything wrong with that. (I don't think, anyway)

I've been introducing all of my French friends to Pinterest... I couldn't believe that none of them had ever heard of it!

I am living in the south of Germany too - and I do not know a single person here who uses Pinterest. I've only seen it on other (not German) blogs so far. I guess Germany will need some more time until people discover it. It was the same here with Facebook. Nobody used it though it was already popular and then suddenly some time later everybody did :)

Love the photo of the quinoa dish - it looks delicious!
