You should know...

I
am
moving
to...

via

whaaaaaat?!

That's right,
I am moving to GERMANY.
The land of lederhosen, sausage, beer and the Alps.

I will be working as an Au Pair for one year.

I have always dreamed of living in Europe,
and here's my opportunity.

My weekends and time off will be spent traveling to surrounding countries,
indulging in local cuisine,
and snapping away on my camera.

My weeks will be spent with two beautiful kids.
Playing, challenging, reprimanding and loving.

At this point I am a jumble of emotions-
but, over all, I am so excited.
sometimes I feel like this cannot be real life.

I will be living one hour south of Munich.
Austria, Switzerland and Italy are right at my doorstep.

The adventure begins March 20th.

You are going to love it!! We lived in Germany for a few years & Munich was my favorite city. Go to Hofbrauhaus and have a beer for me. :) There is a beautiful military resort called Edelweiss in Garmisch. We visited there a lot & I would highly recommend taking a ride up the mountains there. I think they're called gondolas. I can't wait to hear & see about all of your adventures! I miss it dearly. Do you follow Whimsical Poppysmic? She's a great blogger living in Germany. :) Congrats on the new job!!

I knew we had a million things in common, but c'mon... for real?! I have family in Switzerland!! I spent August backpacking around Europe. Spent some time in Munich and surrounding areas. Are we sisters, separated as children? It just gets a bit freaky! :) If you need any advice on where to go in Switzerland - you know who to talk to! (I am hoping to head over there for Turkey day this year!) :)
