This is why I blog...

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to meet with six other amazing bloggers that all live in the Sacramento area.
I'll be honest,
I was nervous.

I mean, I didn't know anything about these ladies.
I knew they blogged,
live in the same area as me,
and were just as enthusiastic to make new friends as I am-
but, those things aside, I knew nothing.

It didn't take more than ten seconds to know this was a group of really awesome women.
That are just a crazy as me to document their lives and post it on the web for all to see.

After chatting (non-stop) for more than five hours,
I drove home so thankful for this little blog of mine.
If it weren't for this blog,
I never would have met these six amazing women,
that are real people just like me.

And, for the first time in a LONG time, I had a really wonderful afternoon chatting with friends.
Getting to know new people.

I have no regrets about scheduling this little blogging get-together.
In fact, I wish I had planned it sooner!

So, to the six bloggers out there that made it to brunch yesterday,
THANK YOU.

And, thank you Ana for the lovely party favors!

Meet these other fabulous ladies-

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!

I seriously had SO MUCH fun! It's always nice to meet girls my age that I can relate to and feel the same way I feel about lots of things. And I definitely agree with Tracy... I have the travel bug now! Thanks so much for organizing it :)

What a fantastic idea! Sounds crazy, but sometimes I forget bloggers are real people, who live outside the internet world:) So cool you got to do this, and wherever you guys met up looks so cool!

Or, y'all can always take a trip over to me and introduce me to everyone ;-)

Sooooo fun! Glad you did this. Some other bloggers and myself are doing the AIDS Walk this year in Minneapolis together. I am hoping for a similar experience as you have had.

Blogger meet-ups are so much fun! I guess we all just tend to be pretty cool people when it comes down to it - maybe it has something to do with our willingness to shamelessly put our lives on the internet or something ;)

Those favors are adorable!

LOVE it! That is so awesome that you had a great time. I hung out with a fellow blogger on Friday night and when others asked us how we met, it seemed sort of odd to say we met through our blogs, but I quickly got over it. Who cares, right? As long as we are finding good friends.

Hey thanks for the sweet comments on my blog, it is always nice to know that people are reading your stuff and as a very small but aspiring blog I really appreciate it! any advice on how to grow your blog would be much appreciated. Your blog is adorable and you even met up with other bloggers? That is when you know you made it as a blogger!
