I am a lover of all things chocolate, ice cream, cookies, cakes, and pies.
And, I confess: I can't remember the last time I went to bed without having at least one dessert (it's usually more like 2 or 3).
I can't help it.
And on those nights that I don't always save enough room for dessert after dinner, I make room. It's this weird thing, I may not ever want dessert but I make sure I have something anyway.
Last night was one of those nights.
We ate dinner. I was uncomfortably full (healthy, I know). The last thing I was thinking about was more food. But, the second the fiance mentions an ice cream run I perk my head up, a smile spread across my face, and magically a space opens in my stomach for more food.
So, we went to the market. He got his chocolate and I got my key lime pie ice cream (the Dryer's yogurt kind). This stuff is like crack- or,what I imagine crack to be like.
Basically amazing, but not the greatest thing for you. Especially when you eat as much as I do.
|i cropped my face off. trust me, it's better this way.|
If you haven't tried this ice cream yet, I highly recommend that you do. Plus, they are not made using high fructose corn syrup! Definitely shocking.
So, when we can't make it to Trader Joe's or Whole foods for our favorite soy ice cream, the fiance and I will sometimes indulge in this stuff.
I prefer the key lime pie. He prefers the chocolate fudge brownie.
What are your favorite desserts?
