For many people, Mondays are rough. It's the start to another work week. Another week of early mornings and uneventful nights.
That is why I am starting Motivation Monday.
I couldn't think of a better Monday motivator than Fauja Singh- the oldest man to successfully complete a full marathon.
Yes, you heard me right.
Mr. Singh, an apparently young 100 year-old man, completed the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon yesterday.
Although he finished last and it took him over 8 hours to complete the 26.2 miles, HE DID IT.
I can't even say this.
He credits his heath to a "life without alcohol and smoking, a vegetarian diet of curries and tea, and daily exercise. He walks or runs up to 10 miles a day". (story found here)
So everyone, if he can do it, so can we.
